In the nursery warming up. The nurses wanted to keep him warm with a heat lamp to start so that he didn't have to burn his own calories to maintain his body temperature. The foil sticker on his belly is monitoring the temperature.
Sleepy tiger. 7 was born to MU grads in the chinese year of the tiger.

I'm so excited for you guys! Little Joe is an adorable newborn!! I can see why the nurses would be worried about him burning calories; he is such a lightweight! Good luck with the first couple weeks!
