What a difference two months makes!

It's hard to believe that Jack's already two months old! I wish time would slow down a bit, but that doesn't seem to be happening. He's becoming super alert, smiling at all of us all the time and trying to take everything in. Since we never posted pictures from our "good" camera on his birthday day, here are a few for the books:

I still need to do a post on his newborn session, but wanted to add his pictures from when he was one month old:

And today, a few days late but at two months old. What a difference!

We love you Jack! His two month check up is later this week, and I can't wait to see just how much he has grown.

Things kids say

Joseph wanted to play his Leap pad this morning, and was frustrated at me when I kept telling him no.

Eventually he looked at me and said, "mom, someday when I am a grownup, I will have kids. And when they want to play their video games, I will let them play as much as they want. Cause that's the nice thing to do."

Oh you will, huh? Writing this down to pull out and remind him in about 30 years. :)

Bedtime

Jack woke up from a nap just as we were finishing reading stories. Poor Jack.

This looks about right.

My pacifier babies. She is super independent about everything but just not ready to quit her love affair with the binky.

Maybe someday. But today she's happy to be Jack's enabler. Something tells me that's not going to change for a long time!

So kissable

Somehow Jack will be two months old in two days. Time is flying!

While he is still bobble-head like, his neck strength has really improved in the last week or two.

Which means he can see all around him a bit easier now.

And is also more aware when he's about to be attacked, er, loved on by his older siblings.

This was Maddie's reaction when we announced that since Jack was both awake and not eating, she could kiss him. She hardly knew what to so with herself.

But then she remembered and quickly resumed her all consuming job.

Joseph loves his little brother too. He actually asks to have his picture taken with Jack whenever he sees me pull the camera out.

We love you, little dude!
